Applications for absentee ballots may be obtained only from the office of the Municipal Clerk at City Hall, 101 West Broadway, Silver City, New Mexico. All applications for an absentee ballot must be completed and accepted by the Municipal Clerk prior to 5:00 p.m., March 2, 2012.

Absentee ballots may be marked in person in the Office of the Municipal Clerk during the regular hours and days of business, beginning on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 and closing at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012.

Town Council meeting rescheduled to March 29
The Town of Silver City Council has changed the date of the next regular Council meeting from Tuesday, March 27, 2012 to Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Grant County Administration Center, 1400 Hwy 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico. Agendas are available prior to the meeting and may be obtained at City Hall, 101 W. Broadway and City Hall Annex, 1203 North Hudson, or on the Town's website, www.townofsilvercity.org. Agenda items may be added or deleted until 5:00 PM of the day before the meeting. If you are an individual with a disability who needs a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter, or any other form of auxiliary aid service to attend or participate in the hearing or meeting, contact the Town Clerk at 534-6346 at least one week prior to the meeting or as soon as possible.
