Street Equipment Operator
The Town of Silver City is accepting
applications for the position of Street
Responsibilities include: responsible for the
operation of all divisional light and heavy
equipment when performing street operations,
construction, maintenance, or repairs.
consists of dump trucks, backhoe, street
sweeper, power broom, grader, dozer, etc.
Requirements include: NM Class D Driverís
License; CDL preferred, or must obtain within
months of hire; high school diploma or
equivalent; three years experience with the
light and heavy equipment; three years
experience with general street maintenance, but
substituted with experience in related field;
should be familiar with safe operation of
ability to perform daily maintenance checks of
equipment and vehicles; ability to lift 50
ability to pass drug and alcohol tests.
