Swimming Pool Assistant Manager
The Town of Silver City is accepting applications for the position of Swimming Pool Assistant Manager.
Responsible for facility operations including staff, equipment, sanitary control of facility and water quality. Responsible for records including: personnel time; direct cost analysis; injuries and care given. Responsible for depositing money after daily operations. May perform regular lifeguard and swimming instructor duties; supervises, trains and evaluates staff, schedules and assigns work hours. Performs other duties as assigned. May be required to work weekends, day and evening shifts.
Knowledge of water chemistry, pool filtration, circulation and chlorination, and chemical-free systems preferable. Ability to supervise a large group of personnel. Knowledge of program management, public needs, general pool practices, procedures for safe pool operations and good record keeping skills.
