As required by the EPA and the New Mexico Environment Department, the Town of Silver City is preparing to perform lead and copper testing of its drinking water on the fourth week of July 2017 (July 24 – July 28). The Town of Silver City is seeking volunteers for lead and copper testing based on the following criteria:
- Drinking water at residence must be supplied directly from the Town of Silver City.
- Residence must be a single dwelling home, preferably built after 1983 or has had new plumbing installed after this date.
