The Mayor of the Town of Silver City is accepting applications to fill one position on the Lodgers’ Tax Advisory Board. The member must be the owner or operator of lodgings subject to occupancy tax within the municipality. The Board advises the governing body on expenditure of funds authorized by the Silver City Code of Ordinances for advertising, publicizing and promoting tourist attractions and facilities in the municipality and surrounding area. The term of appointment is 3 years.
Applications are available with the Town Clerk, City Hall, 101 W. Broadway and on the Town’s website, www.townofsilvercity.org. To request an application by mail or fax, call the Town Clerk at 534-6346. Applications will be accepted until filled by appointment of the Mayor.
