Beyond becoming a member, you can participate on the Museum Society Board or one of its committees. Society Members can run for the Board of Directors or be appointed to an open seat.

Committees
Of course we highly encourage anyone interested in the Museum to become a Society member, but we welcome anyone’s participation on one of the society’s committees, regardless of whether you are a member. The committees are [inset committees].

Museum Advisory Board
The community also has a voice in Museum life via the Museum Advisory Board, an advisory committee appointed by the mayor of Silver City.
