Utility Assistance Program available through Town of Silver City Utility Billing Department
ATTENTION SILVER CITY RESIDENTS
THE TOWN OF SILVER CITY IS WORKING WITH THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO TO HELP RENTERS WITH THEIR PAST DUE UTILITY BILLS. IF YOU ARE A RENTER AND ARE IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE WITH YOUR PAST DUE BALANCE PLEASE CONTACT THE UTILITY BILLING DEPARTMENT AT CITY HALL OR VISIT OUR WEBSITE AND DOWNLOAD THE APPLICATION. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS COMPLETE THE APPLICATION AND RETURN IT TO THE UTILITY BILLING DEPARTMENT AND THEY WILL SUBMIT IT TO THE STATE FOR APPROVAL.
ONLY THE ACCOUNT HOLDER MAY SIGN THE APPLICATION. WE CAN NOT PROCESS THE APPLICATION IF IT IS SIGNED BY SOMEONE WHO IS NOT ON THE ACCOUNT.

AT THIS TIME ASSISTANCE IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR TOWN OF SILVER CITY RESIDENTS WHO ARE RENTING. ASSISTANCE FOR HOMEOWNERS IS PENDING AT THE STATE LEVEL.
